This group is for the discussion of creating and flavoring your own e-liquid, and doing it in a safe manner. We will discuss e-liquid 101, suppliers, flavors and recipes.

i have not recieved my pv yet but i do plan on mixing my own i was just wondering if any of the flavorings they offer would not work in e liquid

I would like to know if it is best to buy nicotine liquid alone or buy it already mixed with PG and VG. Also to make a 24 mg nicotine juice what mg nicotine juice would I need to make it. I am new to all of this and not sure about the whole nicotine thing if I want a 50/50 blend juice. If anyone knows I would appreciate some help. Thanks so much.

  Well i buy a high nicotine base (36) and a bigger amount of base with 0. So i can mix em and bring it down to what i want. For ex.: For the most tobacco flavors i use 12-18 nic but for the fruity or spice tastes i bring it down to 6-10 nic . I’m an all PG gal myself, VG really messed up my throat, tried 50/50 & 70/30 but had problems with both…not a problem with 100% PG though (guess I’m the exception to the “use VG if you’re PG sensitive” line I saw so often when I 1st started vaping).

  The Brandy Alexander juice sounds great! I used to love that drink. I bet the vape is great! I would like to get into DIY just to try my own blends and other recipes I have found. Plus it may be cheaper than buying juice.

      Thanks for the info. I have seen those calculators. I am just wondering if I want 24 mg nicotine juice do I buy stronger nicotine to make it with or do I buy 24 mg nicotine. Cuz when u add the pg and vg it will cut the nicotine down.

      What I personally do is buy double what I want the final strength to be…60mg for a 30mg final juice…so that when I cut it with flavoring & PG/VG I end up with what I want. Double the strength makes easy calculation….half nic liquid & half flavoring/PG equals my desired nic level

10% VG
