It's been a great year for vaping. A lot of new and innovative products were released, we had important victories in the Njoy vs. FDA case, and the community has grown by the thousands as people have discovered vaping and are now using e-cigarettes as an alternative to smoking.
I've met some of the most wonderful people and have made some lifelong friends this year, and I'm looking forward to meeting more in the coming year. Vaping has done more for me than get me off cigarettes–it has literally changed my life.
My love for vaping inspired me to start VapersPlace in September 2009 as a central place for vapers to come together. At the time, there was a division between some of the forums, which I found sad, since we share a common interest. So the idea of having a social network where people in the community could come together and share information seemed like a good one.
I'm very happy that you've all used Vapersplace for this purpose, and even happier to see that the "forum wars" are, for the most part, history.
I want to thank each and every member of VapersPlace for being a part of the site and for providing such great content. Without you, the site wouldn't be what it is today. I'm excited to see what 2011 will bring, and I want to wish you and your families a very Happy New Year!
