This article is about the Cisco Low Resistance 306 atomiser. I bought them from Toby at iVapour-elixir.
These atomisers are described by Cisco as:
Its the best NiChrome on the market, much better quality then what the chinese use. The NiChrome inside is custom; it requires more power to heat up, so the 1.5 ohms really runs like a 1.7/8. These are different from any other ones out there.
They can copy all they want, they will not function the same… They have “Cisco Ltd” etched on the positive connector.
So, when you get them, they look like this:

And they are indeed marked as described:

306 Cartridges are apparently as much use as a chocolate teapot, so you have to use drip-tips with these. So – remove the cover:

This reveals the bridge sticking well up out of the hole in the atomiser – here it is – you can see the vaporising coil inside:

Next – juicing it up… Despite being told to just stick the drip tip on, bung a few drops down and vape, I didn’t find this ideal because I was dripping at far too regular intervals… So, what I’m doing now is this.
Firstly, screw the atomiser onto the device:

Then get your squeezy juice bottle and apply a drip to the bridge:

The drip is sucked into the bridge and down the hole (I found that any juice that runs onto the top surface of the atomiser is also sucked down the hole). Keeping doing this – below is the atomiser after SIX drops have been applied (I should stress this photo is “as is” – no wiping of atomiser or touching up):

(Just for the heck of it I then “pressed the button”:)

Now, slap on the drip-tip and you are ready to vape:

So what do I think? – they work! They work really well – lots of vapour, good flavour (much better than an LR510 – nearly as good as/similar to an LR901 or LR BE112) – lots and lots of hit. They really munch up the juice (and the power), so they may be a good candidate for juice-feeding devices. If they last well – I’d say “a good atomiser”.
